Why 360PE exists
Mission
To generate and share credible, evidence-informed knowledge that supports more equitable, sustainable and resilient societies.
Purpose
To help researchers, policymakers, practitioners and the wider public understand environmental and development challenges, assess trade-offs and consider viable responses.
How we work: from evidence to informed action
Our editorial approach moves from evidence to interpretation and policy dialogue. This is a research communication pathway, not a claim that every publication demonstrates policy impacts.
Use credible scientific, institutional and field-based evidence.
Assess competing explanations, limitations and uncertainties.
Ask who benefits, who bears costs and whose voices are heard.
Compare feasible, evidence-informed responses and trade-offs.
Examine potential implications for equitable and sustainable outcomes.
